Introducing
The Commits from the Capital City Stars Top Junior Team
Day 4 - Commit
This is one of the most exciting times of the year as girls throughout the country have narrow down their choices to where they want to play basketball for the next 4 years in college. For the student athlete and their parents it has been a wonderful roller coaster ride of highs & lows. However for the Capital City Star Top Team (Class of 2015 and a few 2016) the journey has come to an exhilarating end. The Decision have been closed down to (1) singular school of choice. They have verbally committed and are now anxious to sign on the dotted line for that long awaited dream to be fulfilled. Each day, We'll add info concerning the decision from one of our proud Capital City Stars. The hard-work, dedication, determination, prayers and the beliefs have been realized. Today is the first of many more to be recognized in this series on the Capital City Stars playing at the Next Level. So today, we proudly would like to announce the decision of the following Capital City Star:
Rachel Browne
Having a dominant post is one of the greatest attributes a team can possess. The Star's were fortunate to have it with Ms. Browne. High percentage scoring - rebounding, blocking shots, strength and a "Will to Win" that is what Rachel brought with her style of play. At 6'2, she will take up space in the paint. She's an imposing figure, teams will usually second guess when taking it near the rim. A fierce Offensive & Defensive rebounding machine. Her presence in the middle always played a key role in setting the tone for the Stars'. Once she combines her confidence and aggressive approach to the game, she will become a lethal force for the next 4 years. We have no doubt, she will leave a legacy behind at the University she has pledged to represent....... I'm proud to announce Ms. Rachel Browne has verbally
pledged to take her talents to ...............................................................................................................................
Congratulations Rachel....... remember to always let your game SHINE!
