Day 2 - Commit
This is one of the most exciting times of the year as girls throughout the country have narrow down their choices to where they want to play basketball for the next 4 years in college. For the student athlete and their parents it has been a wonderful roller coaster ride of highs & lows. However for the Capital City Star Top Team (Class of 2015 and a few 2016) the journey has come to an exhilarating end. The Decision have been closed down to (1) singular school of choice. They have verbally committed and are now anxious to sign on the dotted line for that long awaited dream to be fulfilled. Each day, We'll add info concerning the decision from one of our proud Capital City Stars. The hard-work, dedication, determination, prayers and the beliefs have been realized. Today is the first of many more to be recognized in this series on the Capital City Stars playing at the Next Level. So today, we proudly would like to announce the decision of the following Capital City Star:
Marissa Brown
Ms. Marissa Brown - Bishop Hartley H.S. (2015) 6'3 - Post. Marissa has steadily worked to improve her overall post game. Ms. Brown's skill set now includes an array of low post moves, the ability to face up & take the jumper or drive to the basket. Marissa has added strength from her weight room workouts which should make her rebounding presence more dominant. She has an uncanny timing for blocking & altering shots.
