Tryouts for the 9th & 10th Grade are here!!!
Tryouts dates are as follows:
 2012
March 3rd
Tryouts will be held @ Bexley High School.
     **Tryout Times**
9th & 10th Grade Tryout Times 

Sat., March 3 -Time 6pm-8pm
Sun., March 11 - Time 10am~Noon
Please try to arrive 20 minutes early.  A parent or guardian will need
to be present to fill out the CCS application, medical form and disclaimer.

Please, bring a reversible jersey, a personal water bottle and most
Importantly bring your A-Game.  Let your Game Shine!!!!!!!

AAU Season is almost here. Stay tune for Dates, times and Locations. The Stars will field teams for the following:
10th / 9th Grade/ 8th Grade (2 teams) / 7th Grade & 6th Grade.

Link to the Capital City Stars U14 at the Wildcats Memorial Showdown in Lexington, KY versus the Ohio Lady Hoopsters U15 team. A great overtime victory finish for the young stars playing up in one of the top tournaments in the Midwest.

Elise Torrence (Bexley High School Varsity) was selected All Mid-State League Honorable Mention her freshman year. The 6'2" post is also a member of the Capital City Stars Girl's AAU basketball team."

Kayla Pack, Worthington Kilbourne 2nd year Varsity Starter, was named to the All- OCC League as Honorable Mention too. Kayla plays the point and shooting guard for the U15 Capital City Stars Team Black, coached by Anthony White.

As the number of districts release their list of girls who made all league more girls from the Stars will be added.

Aarin White 5'8" FR Guard Jersey No.#60 from Brookhaven H.S. Aarin is representing the Class of 2014 for Ohio. Her team consist of 9th and 10th grade girls that included team members Kristen Confroy, 5-8, Solon, Megan Sefcik, 5-8, Austintown Fitch, Kaylee Stroemple, 5-11, North Canton Hoover & Sydney Brackemyre, 6-0 Clinton Massie. Aarin's team went 2 -1 for the event held @ Bowling Green University. Aarin has been a member of the Capital City Stars since its beginnings in 2007.

Big Time Congrats, goes out to the Capital City Stars very own, Coach Darrin Green.  In Coach Green's 1st year at the helm for Centennial, he was selected by his peers as the Columbus City League 2011 - 2012 Coach of the Year.  Coach Green heads our 7th and 8th grade teams and he is the Head Skills Instructor for the Stars too.  Much Love from the Stars Family Coach Green!!!
